VENUE
SHELLEY THEATRE
-
The Shelley Theatre is a lovely 150 seat capacity with very comfortable seating. It is
proving to be an ideal venue for Bournemouth Folk Club's major folk concerts. Moving to the Shelley in 2016, we have enjoyed concerts by Martin Simpson, While & Matthews, Philip Henry & Hannah Martin, Martyn Joseph, Jim Moray, Steve Knightley, Ninebarrow and Phil Beer. All these concerts have been well attended with three sellouts and an average audience of 130. -

A 19th century theatre
This is a 19th century theatre which has been beautifully restored, which was once the home of Mary Shelley, author of Frankenstein.
