Andy plays guitar brilliantly. He is songwriter, singer, guitarist, sound engineer, recording engineer. Recently his excellent playing has made him a key member of duo Four Hand Reel, of bands Miros, Agglestone and Blue Sun. His work for Bournemouth Folk Club has helped build us a reputation for excellent sound. His musical background is varied: we first hear of him as key musician in glam and prog rock bands then as PA technician for legendary rock venue "Mr Smith's Piano Bar". His involvement in folk has been since first playing for us in 1999 at Blue Boar in Poole.
Tonight Andy presents an evening of friends: Pete Christie, Rod Jenkins, Matt Tarling, Four Hand Reel and Blue Sun (with Jane Eyre and Andy's daughter Aimee).
Just for good measure some of Andy's old pals from his 1990's prog-rock band 'The Inhabitants Of Yip' - Mark Arnold, Roy Hill and Bob Burke - will join him for an acoustic re-working of Yip songs. This should be fascinating!
